Expedition 360

The Southeast Asian leg entailed biking from Singapore north through Malaysia, Thailand, Laos and into SW China before climbing the Tibetan Plateau to the foothills of the Himalayas. The 1600 km section through Eastern Tibet to Lhasa involved riding at night to avoid detection at the Chinese police check points. After following the Friendship Highway westwards the route then turned the southward through Nepal and India to the coastal port of Mumbai.
