Jake has been working in video since video was video. Currently a staff producer with Video Free America in San Francisco he has been involved with the expedition since he first met Jason, April and Steve while they were in California.

He is currently involved in securing U.S. distribution for the documentary series and completing the interactive television and online broadband elements of the project.

Over the years he has produced a number of projects for PBS including "What Will the Children Think" and "The Deadly Fuze" with Michigan's WGVU-TV. He also worked on "A Citizens' Summit" and "Dialogue" - the first co-productions between an independent U.S. production company and Gosteleradio in Russia.
