Kenny has been taking photographs and filming the expedition since 1994 - before the Greenwich departure. He joins the team for most departures and arrivals, lending advice and support in the interim periods when the expedition team covers the documenting themselves.

When away from the expedition Kenny is a freelance video cameraman/director working abroad primarily for the BBC and NBC. For the last few years he has been in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, Russia, Afghanistan and the Middle East, providing news and feature coverage of the wars with John Simpson, Ben Brown, Jeremy Bowen, Fergal Keane and Kate Aidie.

In 1997 Kenny made the first linear program (1 x 60 mins) for Discovery Europe on Expedition 360’s travels through Europe and across the Atlantic Ocean. In early 2002 he and his London based production team produced programs 2, 3 an 4, also for broadcast on Discovery Europe.
